ROXANA FONTAN, singer

After an extensive international career, with records in Japan, Spain and Italy, Roxana presentd her first solo production "Se dice de mi" in 2002.

Included are such excellent musicians as Pablo Ziegler, Juanjo Dominguez, Fernando Suarez Paz and Cardozo Ocampo.

Previous work includes performing in the Carlos Saura film "Tango," nominated for Best Foreign Picture by the AcademyAwards in 1999.

Roxana has performed with the company "Tango X 2" of Miguel Angel Zotto and Milena Plebs, touring throughout the world.

Other credits include performances in "Tango for Pablo" at Regio Theatre and at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires (1999), a tour of Columbia with the legendary Mariano Mores show (1993-1994) with a gala performance at the Casa Rosada (Argentinean Government House); in "Tango
Session" at the 5th Granada Tango Festival (Spain) with Nestor Marconi, Leopoldo Federico and Hector Negro; performances with Juan Carlos Copes in the shows "Tango, Magia y Seducción" and "La pesada del Tango" (1993) with María Nieves and Carlos Morel.
